Nomination: Determined by Awards and Scholarship Committee in each secondary school
Criteria:
Graduating student, eligible for an OSSD. Must achieve an average of 85% or better in a minimum of 12 grade 11 and grade 12 credits for a gold medallion. Must achieve an average of 80% or better in a minimum of 12 grade 11 and grade 12 credits for a silver medallion. All credits must be taken from a secondary school program of no more than five years. A student can only qualify for one medallion at secondary school graduation.
