Criteria:

Member in good standing at FirstOntario Credit Union for at least 1 year prior to the bursary issuance; graduating secondary school student who is continuing his/her education at a college or university; minimum B average (70-84%); aged 21 or under; exemplify the co-operative philosophies of self-help, responsibility, equality, democracy, equity and solidarity through school and/or community service.

Complete application - contact local branch or secondary school or visit website; transcript; supporting letters of reference verifying school achievements and/or community involvement, including reference names and telephone numbers; personal letter of application(maximum 500 words) which outlines leadership skills, volunteer activities, educational goals, and personal input regarding credit unions. Winning applicants agree to have their photo taken for promotional purposes of FirstOntario Credit Union.
