Must be African Canadian student who is: Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada; between 16 to 24 years of age; Awards given for Academics - outstanding scholastic achievement, Athletics - outstanding athletic achievement through consistent performance of a sport or sports, Leadership - leadership skills that include initiative, dedication, integrity, acceptance of responsibility, teamwork and effectiveness; must be positive role models who are effective and productive members of Canadian society.
