School Council

At Crystal Beach Public School, we believe that parents are important and make a real difference to children's learning. When parents are involved children do better and achieve more. School Council allows everyone involved in school life - parents, learners, teachers, school staff and the wider community to work together to support the school. It also allows all parents to have a say in their children's education by affording the opportunity to express their views and ideas.

→         Mr. Thomson to discuss School Council and Fundraising Committee participation and policy considerations.

→         THAT: the minutes of the May School Council Meeting minutes are hereby approved.  

→         Discussion by Mr. Thomson regarding any vacancies on council and committee.

→        School Council constitution to be reviewed again this year

→        School Council Liaison Conference – Participation and EFN Presentation

→        Personal Growth and School Growth Plan development (involving School Council)

→        Playground Inspection Report – Money from anonymous sources to repair the playground

→         Help with the Friends of Crystal Beach Road Race

→         EQAO Results to be discussed

→         New Members to School Council – need more participation

→         Library Renovation and support from Community Organizations
