The staff at Glen Ridge Public School are pleased to welcome visitors to our website. We are proud to offer this as another way for parents, students, staff and the wider school community to learn about the Home of the Grizzlies.

Glen Ridge Public School has approximately 150 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 6. Our educational team offers a wide variety of expertise to ensure our students achieve success and enjoy a safe and nurturing learning environment. This team includes teachers, an educational assistant, a youth counsellor, a learning resource teacher, principal an administrative assistant, a lunch hour supervisor, a custodian and cleaning staff. Through our Parent Advisory Council and volunteers, parents are included as part of the team.

I am delighted to be Principal of Glen Ridge Public School and feel privileged to work each day with such a dynamic “team”. Our teaching and support staff are dedicated to children and consider student learning to be their first priority. In addition to providing an outstanding daily academic programme, many staff volunteer their personal time to offer a variety of academic, athletic, musical and artistic activities, well beyond those outlined in the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Curricula. The staff and I are grateful to the many parent, grandparent, secondary school and community volunteers who come to help the children and who give so freely of their time.
