Message from the Principal

Dear Glynn A. Green Community Members,

Welcome to the website of Glynn A. Green Public School. We hope that you will find interesting information about our school, our initiatives and the many activities which take place here every day.

Entering my third year at our school I continue to be impressed with the staff and students. The staff work hard and take pride in providing a nurturing, caring environment, which includes many extra-curricular activities that add to the rich educational experience that our students receive. The academic focus of our staff is to increase student achievement in reading and writing skills. Throughout the year our teachers will meet regularly in network groups to examine achievement data and discuss strategies that will be implemented to meet the needs of all of our students. It is a delight for all of us on staff to work with the students of Glynn A. Green as they are enthusiastic learners and bring an interesting mix of talents and strengths to our school.

We appreciate the support of our parent community . We have many parents and guardians who volunteer countless hours of time to assist in various activities to support the work of our staff. We encourage your continued involvement and participation in your child’s education. Personal communication between parents and school staff is always invited. We hope the information in this website assists in the partnership between home and school to support the success of all of our students.
