On Thursday February 22, 2007 the cast and crew of Fractured Mind anxiously awaited their time to go on stage. They were at Brock University to perform an original play written and directed by Governor Simcoe teacher, Brenna McAllister.

Fractured Mind is a serious drama that follows a 1920's filmmaker, Jack Sloane. After the unexpected success of his newest film, he soon becomes obsessed and starts losing touch with reality and the people around him. Fractured Mind combines both the use of theatrical and technical aspects through the use of video. It takes a realistic look at serious mental illness.

The cast consists of: Jesse Cotton, Jacob Planinc, Sandra Lord, Ryan Post, Marilyn Henderson, Dustin Gill, and Mike Jobson.

Soon after the spectacular performance at Brock University's David S. Howes theatre, a banquet was held on February 24th. At this event the cast and crew received a handful of awards both theatrical and technical, which consisted of: Excellence In Acting - Jesse Cotton, and Jacob Planinc, Best Visual Play, Best Technical Award, and this year=s stage manager of Fractured Mind, Justina Pabritsaite, was the runner up to be next year=s festival stage manager. For the third consecutive year this year's play was chosen to go to Brantford to compete in the regional portion of the competition, where schools from across the region compete to advance to provincials.
