to the website of the Governor Simcoe Redcoats Governor Simcoe Secondary School opened in 1971, since that time it has become one of the most successful schools in the Niagara Region. Simcoe is known throughout Ontario for its academic and athletic accomplishments. What Simcoe is most successful at is meeting the needs of all of its students. The Governor Simcoe staff is a caring staff committed to the philosophy of Achieving Success Together. It is our hope that our students come to school with a smile and leave for home with a smile. I never cease to be amazed at what this staff does for students. They spend countless hours in the classrooms and with co-curricular activities helping our students grow and be the best they can be.
