Governor Simcoe hosted its first ever Special Needs dance on Friday May 8, 2009. The theme for the dance was "Fun in the Sun" . We hosted over 100 students from Simcoe and other schools in the DSBN. Our Special Needs Class and some peer tutors did all the planning and prepartions for the dance. They chose the theme, the music, the snacks, the games and they did all the decorations. Congratulations on a job well done. Watch for our next dance in the spring of 2010, it will be even bigger and better.
