School Council

Dear Greendale Families,
I can’t believe we are now into November! The school year is flying by. With most of our 2009/2010 events already planned, we are looking forward to a year filled with activities that continue to bring us together as a community.
For myself and other members of School Council, being very active in the school has allowed us such a special connection with many of the students, the staff, and other parents. We are lucky to have a fabulous group of teachers and staff that are dedicated to guiding our children through their public school experience.
We have an equally hardworking School Council made up of parents who are dedicated to doing the best for our children, volunteering their time in the classroom, providing monthly hot lunches, Family Movie Night, Pasta Night, Christmas Bazaar, and much, much more. There are many places where you can see evidence of the hard work the School Council volunteers do to make Greendale a great learning place for our children.
Consider the important role that Greendale’s School Council plays in your child’s life at school. There are so many ways that parents contribute, and by joining the School Council, you can make a statement that you support the mission and activities of our organization.
We encourage and invite you to join in our efforts to advocate for our children. We want to find a way for everyone who would like to contribute to do so. When you join School Council, you get a vote in an organization where you can voice your concerns, and work with others towards common goals.
