Welcome to Heximer Ave Public School!

The Intermediate Lego Mechanics Team won their competition at Stanford Collegiate. The are now off to the city of Waterloo for the next competition. Way to go, team! Good luck!

We are pleased to provide an outstanding education our students. Progressive programs for our students are delivered by our dedicated and professional staff who care about your child. Our Board is focused on literacy and numeracy achievement and creating an environment where we are working together on our goal of success for every student.

Our school provides innovative programs to address the needs of all our students, and our students participate in experiences and opportunities that encourage the development of excellence, integrity and respect.

Community Partnerships and parent involvement are crucial to a successful education for our students. We welcome your input and questions as we continually improve our school.

Two of our staff members, Miss Sutherland and Ms. Ledwez, went to Guatemala over March Break to help with a development program. With the fundraising we did at school, we were able to support them in buying more than 30 pairs of shoes for orphans at a school. Thanks for everyone who helped out! Several of our teachers have, or are starting, their own web pages. Why don't you take a look? Click on the apple below:

Breakfast Club

The Breakfast Club is offered to all students free of charge. This service is provided by the generous support from Niagara Nutrition Partners, private donations and organizations that kindly donate product and funds. Breakfast is served from 8:10 a.m. - 8:40 a.m. Many thanks to Rosehill Auction in Fort Erie and Latcham Marine for their donations to our breakfast club program and to all of the volunteers who donate their time. You make a difference!
Please consider making a donation to our Breakfast Club by dropping off a breakfast item (cereal, juice boxes, etc. ). Your support is appreciated.

Hot Lunch

We are so pleased to announce that our “hot lunch” program is now underway! Students have the opportunity to choose from a variety of delicious lunch items that can be ordered each day (except Tuesday as this is Pizza Day). Students simply come to breakfast club, place their order and pay. Their names will be recorded on a master sheet with their selection. Students must order between 8:10 and 8:45-no late orders will be accepted. Many thanks to Michelle Nicholls, a parent in our community, for bringing this to Heximer and to Parent Council for supporting this worthwhile program. We are still seeking some volunteers to assist Mrs. Nicholls. Please contact the school if you are able to assist.
