Technology Sector Pathways

Kernahan Park Secondary School's technology department offers skill development in five broadbase areas:

• Landscape and Horticulture
• Hospitality and Tourism - Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management and Service
• Transportation - Auto Mechanics and Auto Body
• Construction and Manufacturing
• Personal Services - Hairstyling and Aesthetics

Each program includes a comprehensive and experiential learning opportunity. Instruction raises awareness of current labour market needs, provides opportunities for employment and apprenticeship exploration and develops specific skills deemed necessary for current industry standards.
