Important Information about 2009/2010 Class Placements for Lakeview School.
All Town of Grimsby schools will be posting class placements prior to entry on September 8, 2009.
Principals normally try to organize classes for September in May or June, and assign teachers. Often this is communicated to students and parents before the end of June. Due to the need to meet the Primary Class Size mandate, some schools may find this difficult to do until enrolments are more clearly established in September. Historically, there is a fair amount of enrolment/registration change over the summer months, which could have an impact on how classes could be formed in September to address later class sizes once enrolments are confirmed, which will impact on the class organizations and grade assignments in many schools.
Therefore, your school principal may not be able to assign classes and teachers in advance. Your understanding and patience are very much appreciated as we strive to provide the best learning environment for our youngest students.
