BALANCED SCHOOL DAY

The present school day has four blocks of teaching time with two short recesses and a lunch. The balanced school day will consist of three 100-minute blocks of teaching time (or 2 x 50 minute periods), broken up by a 40 and a 50 minute nutrition - and - fitness periods. School start and finish times remain unchanged from the present.
