 PCHS WINS FOOTBALL TITLE!

For the first time in 17 years your Blue Bears Football team are  the champions.  Eric Pipher scored the lone touchdown in a 7-0 defensive battle with the previously undefeated West Lincoln Bears.

Never has coach cairns been prouder of a group of individuals especially considering the Blue Bears lost their 1st two games of the season.   Both of those losses came at the hands of the teams the Blue Bears would later go on to defeat in the playoffs. "The Bears have the heart to stay in the game and today was a perfect example that if you never say die, that if you work as hard as you can, you can achieve what you want," Cairns said to a joyous group of Blue Bears.

As they did all season the Blue Bears defence smothered their opponent's offence.  South Lincoln head coach Chris Freure tipped his hat to the bend-but-don't-break defence of Port Colborne.  "It was a great game," he said. "Their team has stepped it up since we saw them in Week 2."   "They were really hungry for it and they won the game with their defence."
