Salut studiants! What is the French Club, you ask?
The French Club consists of students that participate in a range of French activities. Last year, for example, students played games, sang songs, watched movies, competed in a gingerbread house competition, all en fran�ais. They also participated in the board and provincial French Speeches competitions, as well as an outdoor French Spring Camp, attended by a French rock concert at Brock University, tasted authentic gourmet French meal prepared by the chef at Tradewinds restaurant.

This year's French club will be participating in the the all day celebration at Camp Wetaskiwin in St. Catharine's. Grade 11 & 12 students will serve as team leaders in the many activities including movie trivia, Human Tic-Tac-Toe, French survivor and Scavenger hunt.

French Public Speaking

Junior and Senior This diverse group of PCHS students have all participated in the board-wide competition. Students in any grade and with any knowledge of French are encouraged to compete, as the students compete in different categories; ranging from beginners to the fluently bilingual. These students work with our French teachers to perfect their speeches, and have performed very well in competition. This year, 4 Port High students qualified at the board level to compete in the Provincial Competition!
