Introduction:
This course will enable you to develop a deeper understanding of the chemistry units studied in grades 9 and 10. With a focus on the concepts and theories that form the basis of modern chemistry, students will have an opportunity to conduct scientific investigations and continue to develop skills in scientific inquiry. Emphasis will also be placed on the importance of chemistry in other branches of science and how chemistry is used in developing products and processes that affect our lives and our environment.
