I am so excited to be a member of the Pine Grove family again this year. The community and school have been very welcoming and I look forward to another exciting school year!

I was born in Manitoba and raised in a small town on the shores of Lake Huron called Goderich. It is a great place to live and I love going home for visits with my friends and family!

I attended the University of Windsor where I obtained my degree in Sociology and a Certificate in Criminology and Criminal Justice. I received my Teaching Certificate at D'Youville College in Buffalo NY.

I began my teaching career with the DSBN in 1999 working as an Occasional Teacher. I enjoyed that for several years while my girls were growing up. I began my full time teaching career at River View School where I taught both Grade 1 and Grade 2.

I have been married for 13 years and have been blessed with 2 beautiful daughters - Taylor and Ryan! Taylor is in Grade 6 this year and Ryan is in Grade 3. Both girls keep me busy with soccer, karate and swimming lessons.

As any of my former students will tell you, some of my favourite things are chocolate, snowmen, dolphins and, in case I forgot to mention it, chocolate!
