In supporting sentence(s) #1/2 identify what you have learned about political theory in Civics (Course code CHV2O). You can address causes of conflict, conflict resolution, problem solving, how democracy compares to autocracy, the importance of the Rule of Law and the importance of embracing diversity.

In supporting sentence(s) #2/3/4 list some of the positive things about the type of government in Canada. You can mention the separation of the executive, judicial, and legislative branches of government as well as the separation of responsibilities evident in local, provincial and federal levels of government. You may want to reference the protections inherit in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
Aspects of Parliament can be mentioned such as the House of Commons, the Senate, and the Queen of Canada.

In supporting sentence(s) #3,4,5,6 it is necessary to discuss the relationship that Canada has with international organizations such as the United Nations. You may discuss the way that Canada compares to other countries in terms of rates of literacy, GDP, and infant mortality rate.
