SUNSET
Set the program unit of measure to centimetres.
Draw a rectangle that is 12 x 4 cm. Fill it with a dark gray colour. Remove the outline (right-click on the no Fill option on the colour pallete. Save the file as sunset. Save often as your work.
Make a copy of this rectangle (Ctrl D to duplicate or copy paste then drag the 2nd rectangle off the first).
Select the Interactive Fill Tool (the last tool on the Tool Box). Drag straight down from the top to the bottom of the first rectangle. On the Property Bar (4th bar from top) change the end colour to red. Now your rectangle colour goes from black to red.
Fill the 2nd rectangle with red. Use the Interactive Fill Tool to change the colours of this 2nd rectangle to red at the top down to yellow at the bottom.
Move the 2 rectangles together so they join a the bottom.
Now your colour goes from dark gray down to yellow. Marquee select and
group the 2 rectangles.

Make a copy of this rectangle. Flip the second one vertically (top to bottom) so the yellow is at the top. Drag the 2 rectangles so they join at the bottom. Group the rectangles. Voila, your background is done. You have a beautiful sunset reflected in a lake.

8. Draw mountains with the Freehand Tool and fill it with black. Remember you must have a closed object in order to fill it.

9. Duplicate the mountains, flip one of them vertically and line up the two objects to get the reflection as shown below.

10. Select the 2nd mountain. Select Interactive Transparency Tool (it's inside the Interactive Blend Tool). Drag from the top to bottom of the 2nd mountain. Now you have its reflection.

11. Draw Land with Freehand Tool (closed shapes). Fill with black.

12. Draw a coconut tree. Don't group its parts yet.

13. Group the branches only. Copy them then use them to create two more trees with different trunks. Group each tree and move them to look like this.

14. Draw the Boat with Bezier tool and group it. Make the reflection of it using previous mountain steps and send the reflection behind the Lake.

15. The output will look like this.

16. To create the sun draw a Circle and fill it with the Interactive Fill Tool using Radial Fountain Fill. Use a combination of red and yellow color.
17. Put the Sun behind the mountains.

18. Now you'll create the reflection of the sun in the lake as shown below. Duplicate the sun. Stretch it horizontally and make it thin vertically. Keep on duplicating and place it one below other. Make the size of the copy small as you go downwards. This will create the reflection of the Sun in the lake.
19. Group the entire picture. Final save as sunset.
