Part A P.P.L.P.

A Personalized Placement Learning Plan ( P.P.L.P.) is a four page story about your cooperative education experience.

On page one you list specific information about yourself and your placement.

On page two you will use the right hand column to explain how you met all of the expectations listed in the left hand column (under clustered expectations) while you were in the cooperative education classroom. ( Keep in mind this is a dynamic document and you may not have completed every clustered expectation yet. Therefore as you continue in the course you will need to update your saved copy.)

On page three you again use the right hand column to explain how you met the expectation listed on the left hand side of the page. However, this time it is only related to your actions at the cooperative education placement.

Page four is a little tricky in that you must first cut or copy the learning expectations; for the in-school course related to your placement, and paste them in the left hand column. You will get a copy of the in-school learning expectations from the P.P.L.P. folder on the cooperative education handout folder or directly from the ministry of Education Web site

(Grades 9 and 10 Curriculum or Grades 11 and 12 Curriculum)

In review, the P.P.L.P. is a complete story of your cooperative education experience in four pages. Page one is for specific identification of yourself and your placement. Page two relates only to your cooperative education classroom learning. Page three relates only to your placement experience, and page four is where you explain how the learning expectations from your in-school subject were demonstrated or extended at your placement.
