ATTENTION PARENTS

Intention Sheets will be distributed by Guidance staff starting Monday, February 8th, 2010. Students will attend a grade level presentation, and will be required to immediately complete a mock intention sheet. This sheet will be used to indicate course selections only if the original copy has not been signed by a parent and returned.

INTENTION SHEET PRESENTATION SCHEDULE

Monday, February 8

All current Grade 11 and returning Grade 12 students

Tuesday, February 9

Current Grade 9 and 10 students

Wednesday, February 10

Current Grade 9 and 10 students

Thursday, February 11

Current Grade 9 and 10 students

Friday, February 12

Current Grade 9 and 10 students

All students are required to hand in a completed Intention Sheet, signed by a parent,
by Thursday, February 18th, 2010.

Students are welcome and encouraged to access the guidance office for:

  • Educational planning

  • Career counselling

  • Personal counselling

  • Educational and volunteer opportunities

  • Study skills information

  • Job search information

  • Internet based interest inventory and search

  • Scholarships information

  • Information about exchanges and summer program opportunities
