A Brief History of Sheridan Park Public School

  1. The land was purchased in 1975, it was part of the canal system. At the time, G.R. Allan was the Director of Education.
  1. The site was selected to serve west of Lake St. and Lakeport Rd.
  3. In 1976 the total enrollment was 248 students. In 1979 Sheridan Park's student enrollment was at it's highest with 483 students.
  5. Our facility is equipped with a gym, open concept library and computer lab of the second floor.
  7. Our Feeder Schools are Meadowvale and Parnall for grade 7 & 8.

  8. Sheridan Park School now has an enrollment of approximately 300 students and a staff of 17 teachers and 2 E.A.'s.
  10. Our building is an exciting place to learn and a growing success!
