Description

What: Volleyball is a team sport that works on not only individual talents but on bringing all athletes together to work as a unit.

Who: Girls and Boys - Grade 9 - 12.

When: The Boys season is Sept. to November
The Girls Season is November to March

Commitment: All athletes must be committed to attend all practices and games. There are 4 - 5 practices a week.

Competitions: West Park competes in regular season league play, play-offs and possible SOSSA and OFSSA Championships. There are 8 -12 league games plus tournaments in the season.

Accolades: Volleyball has been a very successful sport at West Park in the past with 6 OFSSA trips in the last 10 years. The Junior team were Zone 4 champions in the 2007-2008 season

Goals: Competing in league play-offs and advancing to SOSSA and OFSSA Championships.
