Westlane's very own music department has won multiple awards at the 2008 Port Colborne Music Festival. Concert Band won first place achieving the highly regarded Gold Plus award for their performance. Westlane's Choir also won 1st place in their division. Great job everyone!
Students from Mr. Babony's Tech Design class tested their cardboard boats and solar powered ovens last week as a project to demonstrate bouyancy, aerodynamics and solar energy.

Spartonics finished 10th overall in Galileo Division, out of 86 teams at the Atlanta First Robotics National Championship.
