Who We Are:
"Just One" is a campaign that emphasizes how small acts make a big difference. We are particularly focused on raising awareness amongst school-age children and teens. Led by Mr. Taylor's Period 1 Workplace (Environmental) Science Class, Just One is promoting just one act of green, once a day for one year.
Anyone signing up by Earth Day will recieve a Just One bracelet. After Earth Day bracelets are available for students at 50 cents and $1 for adults. All proceeds will off-set the cost of the bracelets and/or used for future Just One initiatives.
How you can help :
Start by signing up below and committing to one act of green a day from Earth Day (April 22) to Earth Day. Then make sure to stick your committment.
One of the EASIEST ways you can help with the “Just One” cause is to pick up one piece of garbage a day, and throw it in a garbage can or recycling bin. This will help keep our environment clean and clear of garbage.
Other ways you can help, are by turning off your lights when you leave the room, and shutting off the TV when you are not using it. These examples of saving energy and power will also help to save our planet.
