Premier AT

All computers within the District School board of Niagara have been installed with the Premier AT software suite. Premier Assistive Technology has a wide assortment of tools that 'level the playing field' for all students of varying abilities. These programs are available for staff and student use at home (Please contact your school for access information). Among its many uses, this software allows the computer to read a favourite web page, email, homework, or even a digital book. In addition, there is a program that converts documents to audio files to be listened to on an iPod or mp3 player! As well, there are tools which assist with proofreading and editing homework.
