In the "Information Age" choosing a career is becoming increasingly difficult for so many young people. This informative, interactive presentation brings career opportunities in the skilled trades and technologies to the forefront for many young people. Students in attendance have access to knowledgeable people that can provide them with the information they require to make informed career decisions.

The presentation takes a broad approach by focusing on a variety of topics including:

  • career planning resources
  • labour market trends and how they apply to career decisions
  • an introduction to apprenticeship training

  • real life success stories about skilled tradespeople

Delivered in an entertaining way by incorporating aspects of pop culture, this presentation is sure to catch students' attention. This PowerPoint presentation is available for both senior elementary and secondary schools and is available in both English and French.
