Community Education Services

Community Education at the District School Board of Niagara is specially designed to offer a variety of programs for learners of any age. Upgrade a credit? No problem. English as a Second Language (ESL) or International Languages? We can help. Independent study, literacy and basic skills and employability training? It’s all here – and much more.

Community Education Services provides a wide range of programs in community schools, the Lifetime Learning Centre and other sites in various locations in Niagara Region.
Welcome ...
.....to the Fall 2009 Lifetime Learning Guide!
The Department of Community Education Services of the DSBN invites you to become involved in its adult, youth, and continuing education programs.

During these challenging times, the District School Board of Niagara continues to strive to meet the needs of those working towards achieving a secondary school diploma, improving English language or literacy skills, or upgrading to pursue a “next” career. The various sites across the Niagara Region provide for wide accessibility to programs, and many tuition free programs make participation affordable.

In addition, our General Interest courses provide a cost effective and fun way to keep both your body and mind active and fit. With over 200 interest courses offered at 12 different sites in the Niagara Region, there is something to interest everyone!

Why not join us and be among the thousands each year who explore, achieve, create, and celebrate their personal and professional growth!
