“Choices Into Action” is the primary Guidance and Career Education policy for students in Grades 1 to 12. It outlines a comprehensive program that highlights three areas of learning: student, interpersonal, and career development. Its basic objective is for students to learn to make informed and appropriate choices to ensure their successful transition from elementary to secondary school and from secondary school to further education, training and the workplace. The purpose of this website is to support this policy by providing students, parents, guardians, and educators with basic information about its various components and additional resources that may be of assistance. For more information on our program, please consult the booklet "Guidance & Career Education" available for download in the Student/Parent Resources section below.
