Getting Started
What is required of you?
You must be 16 years of age
You must be enrolled in high school full-time
You must have completed grade 10
You must demonstrate good work habits and a positive attitude
You will need to have a good attendance record with minimal lates
You must show a genuine interest in the trade you wish to learn (Related technology credits would be a good example of this)
You will need to have Cooperative Education on your timetable
You will need Social Insurance #. Apply for this before you begin!
You may choose to purchase your own tools. (Read more about the
“Loans for Tools” program
