Career Studies (GLC2OH) teaches
students how to develop and achieve personal goals in education and
work.
It also helps students to recognize the importance of contributing
to their communities. Students assess their own knowledge, skills
and characteristics through a variety of self-tests. They have many
opportunities to investigate economic trends, workplace organization,
work opportunities and ways to search for work. The course explores
in detail post-secondary learning options, prepares students for
community-based learning, and helps them to build skills for managing
work and life transitions. |
