12 Stratford Early
Bird Tournament (12 teams participating)
Eden
travelled to Stratford to take part in a 12 team tournament. In
round robin play Eden defeated South Huron(25-16; 25-13),
Chesley (25-13; 25-5), Sacred Heart (25-9;
25-6), St. Mary's (25-9;
25-15) and St. Michael (25-22; 25-17) to finish
first in their Pool. Eden
than played Goderich in the semi-finals
and defeated them 25-7; and 25-14. In
the final Eden took on the host school St. Michael
and defeated in 2
games to capture the Gold Medal. Scores
were 25-22; and 25-23.

18/19 McMaster University Tournament
(30 teams participating)
Eden
took part in a 30 team tournament at McMaster University. In
round robin play Eden defeated Thornlea (25-19; 25-18),
Galt Collegiate (25-20; 25-21), but than lost to Highland
in 3 games (25-15; 22-25; 16-18) but still
finished first in their Pool. Eden than played
local rivals Sir Winston Churchill in the
pre-quarters and defeated them 25-18; 23-25;15-10 in
a well played match. In the quarter-finals Eden
took on a very stron Chatham Kent team and came away
with a hard fought victory 25-22 and 25-23 to advance
to the semi-finals. Here, Eden played St. Jean de Brebeuf
and defeated them 25-16 and 25-14 to advance to the
finals where they met up with last years Quad A OFSAA
Gold Medalist and were defeated 25-18 and 25-19 to finish
in second and capture the silver medal.

25/26 Waterloo University Tournament
Eden
took part in a 24 team tournament at Waterloo University. In
round robin play Eden defeated Waterloo CI (25-23; 25-22),
Goderich (25-14; 25-20), Woodlands Christian (29-27;
25-15) and than split with St. Mikes from Toronto (25-19;
23-25) but than lost to Grand River (21-25; 22-25) to
finish second in their Pool. The teams were than
re-pooled and Eden than played
Mississauga and defeated them 25-14; 25-16. In their
second match they lost to Oakridge from London 20-25;
21-25. In their third match Eden took on local rivals
Sir Winston Churchill and
defeated them 25-20; 25-14 to finish second in this pool.
In the first round of the play-offs Eden played Colonel
By and defeated them 25-23; 23-25; 15-7. In
the quarter-finals Eden took on a very strong Grand River
team and came away with a 25-20
and 25-23
lose.

2 Eden Invitational
Tournament
Eden
hosted a 10 team tournament. In
round robin play Eden defeated St. Francis (25-9; 25-11),
Dr. JM Dension from New Market (25-10; 25-20), A. N.
Myer (25-16; 25-19), and Assumption from Burlington
(25-16; 25-22) to finish first in their Pool. Eden
than took on Bishop Ryan from Hamilton in the semi-finals
and came away with a 25-10; 25-15; victory to advance
to the finals. In the finals Eden played Waterloo
Collegiate and defeated them 2 games to 0 to capture
the Gold Medal. Scores were 25-21
and 25-20.

3 Niagara
College Tournament
Eden
took part in a 23 team tournament at Niagara College. In
round robin play Eden defeated Notre Dame (25-6; 25-15),
Blessed Trinity (25-5; 25-16), West Elgin (25-12; 25-16) but
than split with Wallaceburg (25-8; 25-27) but still finished
first in their Pool. Eden
than played
Governor Simcoe in the quarter-finals and defeated them
25-14 and 25-19 to advance to the semi-finals. Here they
took on a strong Ancaster team but were able to come
away with a 25-17 and 25-20 victory. In the finals Eden
took on local rivals Sir Winston Churchill
and
defeated them 25-13; 25-20 to capture
the Gold medal. Brad Wall was chosen to the All-star
team and Jordan Dyck was the tournament MVP.

defeated Grimsby 3 games to 1: Scores were 25-15; 25-10;
24-26; 25-11

9 Westmount Tournament
Eden
took part in a 7 team tournament at Westmount. In
round robin play Eden defeated Parkside (25-18; 25-17)
Orchard Park (25-13; 25-19) to finish
first in their Pool. Eden than played Hamilton
Christian in the semi-finals and defeated them 25-18
and 25-19 to advance to the finals. Here they took
on the host school Westmount. Eden came out on firing
on all cylinders and came away with an impressive 25-16
and 25-15 victory to capture
the Gold medal.

16/17 Chatham Kent Volleyball
Tournament
Eden
took part in a 18 team tournament at Chatham Kent. In
round robin play Eden defeated Goderich (25-12; 25-21),
Essex (25-12; 25-21), Bishop Ryan (25-13; 25-21, Chatham
Kent (25-15; 25-17), and Sir John A. MacDonald (25-21;
25-17) to finish first in their Pool. Eden
than played
Central Elgin in the quarter-finals and defeated
them 25-20; 19-25 and 16-14 to advance to the semi-finals.
Here they took on a strong Oakridge team but were able
to come away with a 22-25; 27-25; 15-7 victory.
In the finals Eden took on Urseline
College and defeated them 21-25; 25-18; 15-12 to capture
the Gold medal.

(25-17; 25-23) to finish first in their Pool. Eden
than took
on Governor Simcoe in the semi-finals and
came away with a 25-10; 20-25; and 15-9 victory to
advance to the finals. In the finals Eden played
Beacon and defeated them 2 games to 0
to capture
the Gold Medal. Scores were 25-10 and 25-17.

25- 23) and Stratford Central (25- 15; 25- 16)
to finish first in their Pool. Eden
than played
Innisdale from Barrie in the quarter-finals and were
defeated 19-25; 25 - 18; and 13- 15.

Challenge Tournament
Eden
took part in a 8 team tournament in Ottawa. In
round robin play Eden defeated Rideau (25-20;
25-10; 25 - 17), Colonel By (28-26; 25-18; 25-11),
and Samuel Genest (25-17; 25-14; 25-15) to finish
first in their Pool. Eden
than played
Glebe in the semi-finals and defeated
them
25-20; 22-25; 25-23; and 25-15 to advance to the
finals. Here they took on Regiolopolis from Kingston
the number one Triple A school in the province.
Eden
came
out firing on all cylinders and played a great
match but were defeated in 5 tough games to earn
the silver medal. Scores were 22-25; 25-21; 25-22;
20-25; and 12-15.
