Junior 2007-2008 Results

April 12-13 Eden at Ridley Tournament

Congratulations to the Junior boys on scoring their first try of the season during a weekend of action at Ridley. Despite having only 3 players from last year, they were able to keep each game close losing 4 trys to 0 against Ridley, 3 trys to zero against Trinity College and lastly losing 3 trys to1 try against St. Andrews. Our lone try scorer was Mitchel Punton.

April 22 Oakville Trafalgar at Eden

Congratulations to the members of the junior team on scoring a try in their loss to a very strong Oakville Trafalgar junior team yesterday afternoon. The final score was 27-5 with Mitchel Punton scoring our try.

April 23 Thorold at Eden

Congratulations to the members of the junior team on their convincing 32-0 victory over Thorold yesterday afternoon in their regular season opener. Too many trys and too many try scorers to name them all.

April 30 Eden at Holy Cross

Congratulations to the members of the junior team on a impressive 27-0 win over Holy Cross yesterday afternoon in their second league game of the season.

May 2 Eden at Saltfleet

Your junior flyers also travelled to Saltfleet and played well in a 5-0 losing effort.

May 6 Stamford at Eden

Congratulations to the junior boys team on a determined effort in their very close loss to Stamford yesterday afternoon here at home by a score of 5-0.

May 9 Eden at Stamford Tournament

Congratulations to the junior boys team on going 2-1 in the Stamford tournament. They beat Holy Cross 10-5 and A.N. Meyer 22-0. They lost in the final against Stamford by a score of 8-0.

May 15 Eden at A.N Meyer

Congratulations to the members of the junior team on a very impressive 40-0 win over A.N. Meyer yesterday afternoon in their final league game of the season. Too many trys and try scorers to name them all.

May 20 Holy Cross at Eden in Zone 3/4 Semi-final

Congratulations to the members of the junior team on a impressive 31-3 win over Holy Cross yesterday afternoon in their semi-final advancing them to the Zone 3/4 final scheduled for May 27 at Stamford at 3:30 p.m.

May 27 Eden at Stamford in Zone 3/4 F inal

Congratulations to the junior boys on winning the Zone 3/4 finals by a score of 17-3 over Stamford in the Falls. Your try scorers were Phil Hartwig, Mitchel Punton and Scott Laing.
