Welcome to Orchard Park Public School!

Orchard Park is a wonderful place. The students here are provided with rich learning opportunities. Our staff is dedicated to student achievement and are always striving to ensure that our students are actively engaged in their learning.

Our intermediate students have the opportunity to participate in our school Leadership Council. Through this council our character education assemblies, colour house spirit days and community outreach programs are organized. As well as our highly competitive sports teams our students are also able to participate in some unique programs such as an intermediate trips, guitar club, curling club, homework club and after school tutoring programs (run by our local high school students). This past year Orchard Park put on the Wizard of Oz musical which involved several of our teachers as well as over 130 students. We were thrilled with the production - it was a huge hit based on the dedication of the cast and crew!

We are also extremely excited about our renovations and addition. The changes are currently underway. Our current gym has been turned into a library and computer lab. We are looking forward to opening this area. Moving the library and computer lab to this new location will provide us with 2 new classrooms within the building. Our addition will include a gymnasium and administration area. Board personnel, Orchard Park staff and our Architect firm are working together and are excited about how the project is coming together.

At Orchard Park we have an active School Council consisting of approximately twenty parents. We count on them for support in any initiative that we may endeavor. Our parents are eager to provide their time and expertise to support our students.

Working together the staff, students and parents of the Orchard Park community continue to make Orchard Park a place where learning is fun!
