Blended Instruction

AHLP

The After Hours Literacy Program (AHLP) is developed by the DSBN and used to prepare students for the OSSLT. This has been so successful that some schools enrol their entire grade 9 and 10 student body in this course. In addition, the DSBN Ontario Literacy Course (OLC) on the AHLP due to its popularity. This material is designed as a resource for teachers of the OLC.

Language Arts

Four online courses: Language Arts 7 & 8 and Mathematics 7 & 8 have been developed by the DSBN, which can be used as eLearning courses or as support material for Differentiated Instruction, remediation or extension. Teachers have been using this consecutively for several years.

OSSLC

This Course allows students to focus on their needs with teacher supervision.
