The Aboriginal community is one of the fastest growing sectors of the population in Ontario. The District School Board of Niagara is dedicated to supporting and improving Aboriginal student success. Our intention is to promote and enhance Aboriginal cultural awareness in each of our schools. The District School Board of Niagara is committed to this initiative and encourages parental involvement. The ‘spirit tree’ was created as a symbol representing all Aboriginal groups, the Metis, the Inuit and all First Nations.
