HUMPTY 2

1.         From your drive open humpty1 > save as humpty2 before continuing > change the filename in your hand-in info.

2.         Move the text to put this nursery rhyme in order, as shown. Try different methods:

            •           select text and drag it

            •           select text and use the cut tool then paste tool

            •           use the function keys--Ctrl X to cut and Ctrl V to paste

Sat on a wall

Humpty Dumpty

Had a great fall

all the king’s horses

And all the king’s men

Couldn’t put Humpty

Together again

3.         Add the title at the top – HUMPTY DUMPTY–bold, italic, 20 pt, shadow

4.         Vertically centre the exercise (center page top/bottom)

5.         Select the body (i.e. the rhyme) and Sh F7 to centre all lines.

6.         Double space the body; remember to put your cursor on the first line of the poem, not the title line, before you set line spacing to 2 for double.

7.         Check your work > save as humpty2
