IT’S THE LAW!

Under Ontario law, if you sign a contract in your home worth more than $50 you can cancel within 10 days by sending a letter to the company.  In the letter include the following information:

• The date of the contract
• as much detail as possible about the product or service ordered.  (model or other identifying number that might apply)
• your request (to rescind the contract)

You must be able to prove that the letter was received, so send it by registered mail, fax or courier.
