PROVINCES


  1. Set your font to Arial 10 point before you begin.  Save the file as Provinces
     

  2. Set your margins to 4 cm.
     

  3. Key the document below.  Set up the title in proper format.  Remember to enter 3 times after it (triple space).  Bold the title and set it to 12 point font.
     

  4. Column headings are mixed case and underlined as shown.
    After keying the first column heading (Provinces and Territories) press Alt F7 to right justify the other column heading (Abbreviations).

  5. Key the first province name then Alt F7 twice to right align with dot leaders (those dots you see) before you key the provincial abbreviation.  Repeat for all items.
     

  6. Centre the document top to bottom on the page, i.e. vertically (Ctrl Home to top > format menu > page > center...)
     

  7. Hand-in info > preprint checklist (visually proofread very carefully) > final save > close the file.
